Motherhood begins in the body—through breath, touch, and the instinctive ways we respond to our babies. But in a world full of noise, advice, and pressure to perform, it’s easy to lose trust in what we already innately know.

Coming Home to Your Instincts is a 3-week, in-person workshop for mothers and babies that brings you back to connection—through guided touch, oral play, nervous system awareness, and baby-led communication for moms with littles under 3 months.

Each session is co-led by:

  • Vidhi Shastri, PT, MS, CFMT – holistic physical therapist specializing in craniosacral, visceral, and somatic touch

  • Morgan Parker, SLP, M.Ed. – speech-language pathologist specializing in infant feeding, early development, and the mother–baby bond

And includes hands-on practice, education, reflection, and space to be held.

You’ll also receive a complimentary copy of Morgan’s ebook Tune In.

What You’ll Experience

Each 90-minute session includes:
1. Guided bodywork + touch techniques for bonding, regulation, and tension identification
2. Guided oral play and facial touch to support feeding, comfort, early communication, and connection
3. Tools for co-regulation, baby cues, and attunement
4. Time for questions, connection, and integration

Week 1 — Foundation of Connection is Attunement

Theme: Attunement begins with self-awareness.

  • Ground into your own body and emotions through guided awareness tools

  • Introduction to baby cues + timing responses to decrease baby’s crying, tension, and frustrations

  • Gentle exterior facial touch

  • Understand comfort as a biological need

Week 2 — Touch is Co-regulation and Communication

Theme: Nurturing touch as a language of love and safety

  • Learn types of touch that comfort and connect

  • Read and respond to baby’s cues through guided touch

  • Practice gentle, responsive touch to the abdomen, diaphgram, and feet

  • Guided oral play for feeding + sensory awareness

  • Tools for connection: presence, mother’s ease, and keeping baby close

Week 3 — Attunement & Integration

Theme: The baby’s body and face speak volumes — and you can learn to listen.

  • Recognize key nonverbal signals (engagement vs. disengagement).

  • Practice mirroring and gentle vocal attunement

  • Guided interior oral play: cheeks, palate, tongue

  • Tools for co-regulation through closeness

You’ll learn how to

Read your baby’s nonverbal cues with confidence to decrease crying and frustration

Support calming and connection through touch and responsiveness

Use playful oral touch to support feeding, comfort, and development

Practice using other tools for connection to nurture ease (babywearing, mothers ease, etc)

Build trust in your own instincts—even when things feel uncertain

Why It Matters

This is not a class about doing more, performing, or perfecting motherhood.
It is about returning to what has always been true—that you and your baby already know how to communicate, connect, and thrive when given space and presence.
